We provide events to help you make the most of your time in Guildford. From day trips to conversation groups, we explore the UK together, invite you to meet local people and other international students, facilitate cross-cultural experiences and more.

Our events - a few examples of what we offer

Our events are part of the reason our students love to spend time in our community! We offer a large range of events and experiences over the year which often include BBQ’s, Walks, Firework events, Christmas parties, trips to London, Rendezvous ladies only events, social game events, adventure days to parts of the UK, cultural experiences, English conversation clubs, online cook alongs and many more!

Run with us! While there are regular opportunities to walk in the local area provided by our volunteers, we also offer the occasional run for all those who want to keep fit while exploring Guildford!

Let’s Talk About is our podcast which includes conversations with students, university services, and help with navigating culture, finding events and activities, and more!

Chaplaincy Drop-In is a supportive conversation with Phil, Lilli or another Chaplain on campus during the week

DAY TRIPS  are a great way to see local areas of natural beauty or interesting places as well as make new friends on the day!

Rendezvous is a ladies only event helping you make friends. It usually takes place in a volunteers home or local venue

Bible and Cake is a space to meet people interested in the Christian faith and wanting to explore the Bible in a relaxed and friendly space.
