Surrey University Chaplains

If you would like to discuss faith or attend a local church in-person, connect with us through the Chaplaincy. The University of Surrey has a team of chaplains that support all faiths and none.

Anglican church, perfect for those living in Onslow Village, in walking distance from the main campus.

Binscombe Church 

You will need a car to get there but very welcoming. 

Burpham Church 

A lovely welcoming family church, located just near Aldi.

Cornerstone

Cantonese speaking congregation meeting in Guildford Baptist Church.

Emmanuel

Anglican Church, perfect for students living in Stoughton, an international support group meets once a month after the service.

Emmaus Rd

A non-denominational Church, which usually meets in the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre. A great Church for young people and families.

Guildford Baptist Church / Millmead

A warm and welcoming Church with an international congregation. Millmead is home to the spacious and brand new Open Grounds Cafe – a perfect place to study off campus. 

Guildford Cathedral

Anglican Church, very close to campus.

Hosts weekly Chit Chat – an opportunity for internationals to practise their English. Meets in the oldest Church in Guildford; St Mary’s. 

Grace Church

(Two locations) Guildford Park location is very close to campus, very welcoming towards internationals.

QE Park Baptist Church Perfect for those students living in Hazel Farm. 

St Saviours Church

Big main Anglican Church in town.
