In January we would never have been able to guess what the ministry would look like today, just a few months later!
Circumstances have dramatically changed for all of us, and the way we engage with international students has had to adapt too.
Amid all this change, the truly remarkable thing is that the friendship and faith we offer to these students is more imperative now than ever before. International students are feeling isolated and confused, however they are also now asking deep questions and are more open to hearing the gospel.
We are finding that increased numbers of students are joining our online events, even from countries all over the world – some who have returned home already and others who are planning on starting here in September. We are stepping in to provide much-needed companionship and a platform for sharing our lives and our purpose in life.
During these challenging times we give thanks for you, our faithful and committed supporters. International students need you more than ever now, and we are grateful for your partnership with us in the ministry.
The latest edition of our Opportunity newsletter includes inspiring stories from across the country that will encourage you, please do take a moment to sign up to receive it. We will continue to give you the latest information to inform your prayers and financial donations that make such a difference to the lives of the international students we support.
We deeply value your partnership in growing friendship and faith with international students.
In Christ,
Alan
