Chit Chat
Practice English in the heart of Guildford.
CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE DUE TO CORONAVIRUS
9:30 every Wednesday morning during term time sees a group of friendly local people chatting (talking) with people from all over the world in a 1000 year old church. Chit Chat welcomes anyone who wants to practise their English.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to building work at St Mary's, the sessions will be held at The Trinity Centre just off the top of the cobbled high street.

QUEST
A friendly place for conversation
Our friends at Grace Church, Guildford offer a safe space to practice your English, 6:30pm on a Thursday evening. These evenings do have a Christian focus but are open to all no matter their religion.

Millmead Alpha
Learn about Christianity over a meal
Are you curious about Christianity? Have you heard that England is a Christian nation and want to know if it really is? Guildford Baptist Church regularly run a course called Alpha that is open to international students and includes break out groups for specific languages.

Alpha includes a meal each evening and is an opportunity to hear about the Christian faith in an environment where all questions are welcome.

International Support Group
A friendly group that meets for lunch and support through sharing from the bible, spending time together and prayer.
Do you want to meet international families who have made Guildford their home? Would you like to learn more about the bible or get to know a few more people over a meal? You can join in with their meals by signing up to our app and finding the monthly event.
