Weekend events for families

These include cultural events such as parties at Christmas and Easter and also outings to places of interest for parents and children.

Autumn Term 2010

Saturday 25th September: Broadwater Park & Tea

Broadwater Park, 2:30pm until 6pm.
Meet at 2:30pm at the Millmead Centre, Manor Park reception or outside GSA Starbucks (see details for different meeting times).
Visit a park near Godalming, take a short walk around a lake, feed the ducks and meet other families.  There is a large activity playground for children.  Enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea of sandwiches (including vegetarian) and cakes by a local church.
Meet at Manor Park Reception at 2.30pm or outside GSA Starbucks at 2.40pm.  Please contact Ruth Archer to arrange transport from elsewhere by 23rd September.
This event is free.

December: A Celebration of Advent

Date to be decided; Sharing a meal at last year's Advent Party

Join us for a celebration with music, seasonal Christmas snacks and a talk about Advent.  Come and find out what Advent is all about and the significance of Christmas.  Dress casually.
Transport back to Campus, Manor Park and Hazel Farm will be available at the end of the event which will be at approximately 10:00pm.
This event is free but places are very limited, so please book your ticket in advance by e-mailing julia@friendsinternationalguildford.org.uk.

Saturday 18th December: Christmas Celebration

Details for this event are yet to be decided.


At all Friends International events, children are the responsibility of their parents at all times.

You are also welcome to join us at our other events, although these may be less suitable for young children.
