The international student group, Friends International,
welcomes students and internationals from any background or belief.
We realise that life away from home in a foreign land and strange culture can
be difficult, and you may have some questions about all sorts of issues
or face many unfamiliar situations during your time in this country.
We are here to help you as best we can and to try to answer any questions you may have.
Friends International (in Guildford) is a group of people from churches in Surrey, as well as
UK students.
We have a special interest in welcoming and caring for international students.

We want to help make your stay in Guildford, Surrey and the UK an enjoyable experience. As part of this we plan many events for overseas students and overseas families. We also run social mornings for international ladies, and an international mother and pre-school children's playgroup - a safe place for international children to play together!
We look forward to seeing you at some of our social and cultural events. As well as meeting other internationals, these occasions provide opportunities for you to meet local British people and the chance to speak English in a way that you may not otherwise do.
We are a Christian based group, and as such we also provide opportunities for you to join Bible Study groups and visit local Churches, to find out what Christianity is all about and what it really means to be a Christian.
